Christopher + Will // LGBTQ+ Milwaukee Proposal on Lake Michigan

If there’s one thing you can count on the queers for, it’s a double proposal. So, when Chris reached out to me with the hopes of proposing to his sweet partner Will, I had a sneaking suspicion that Will could propose right back. Then I saw Will’s fresh manicure (complete with a ring finger accent nail) and I just knew it was bound to happen.

We started the session with some romantic solstice-inspired vibes before heading to the lakeshore for the big moment. While Will set up a few candles, Chris slyly snuck the ring box - a gorgeous ceramic beetle - from his bag. After the initial shock when Will turned around to see he was being proposed to, he quickly asked for me to grab his bag so he could return the gesture. I just love having a front-row seat to moments like this one, and being able to relish in queer joy. Such a special day for these two and such an honor for me.
