Kate + Conner // LGBTQ+ Halloween Masquerade Wedding at Gibson Social Club

HEY THERE!

Okay, perhaps it’s a bit out of season to be thinking about (and dare I say, daydreaming of) Halloween when it’s nearly Valentine’s Day, but what’s more romantic than a masquerade?

Kate + Conner chose to celebrate their love with an incredible party on the spookiest night of the year and at one of my favorite venues - the The Gibson Social Club. Their guests fully committed to the theme and came adorned in an assortment of costumes and fanciful masks and props galore. (Have you ever witnessed someone in a The Purge mask partaking in a ring-warming ceremony? Incredible.) Their reception tables featured gorgeous cloches from their own private collection of insects, bones, and florals - it took all of my self-control not to sneak a few of them out to my car at the end of the night. Every detail was lovingly tended to and infused with so much creativity + personality.

But I think my favorite part of the day was watching the way that Kate + Conner find true safety in one another. Sweet, clever, hilarious, and so completely devoted to creating a space that feels welcoming for the people they love the most. What a treasure it is to know these two.
