Josie + Carlos // Vintage-Inspired Milwaukee Engagement Session

HELLO!

I’ll admit, as the daffodils bloom and the tulips make their way out of the dirt, it does feel a bit out of season to be sharing this winter wonderland engagement session with you. But Josie + Carlos are simply too good not to share, and as the last snowy session sitting in my blogging queue, it also feels a bit like the perfect transition into spring.

We started their session in their home (kitty cat included), sipping coffee, admiring their collection of perfect little trinkets, and talking about one of our mutual loves: Scotland. Because these two love treasure-hunting in antique malls, we decided to venture out into the snow and peruse the shelves at Clocktower Antiques (a true gem!) and document the magic. Josie found the most perfect vintage hat to complete her look and keep her cozy as we ended our session playing in the freshly fallen snow!

This session was such a treat; I love finding unconventional locations that suit each couple’s personality, and this was just the loveliest way to spend a snowy Saturday. Here’s to many more like this.
