Jill + Eddi // Earthy + Romantic Winter Wedding in Green Bay

HOWDY!

My first wedding of the year is complete and I am soooooo overwhelmed with gratitude as I sit here to tell you all about it.

Jill + Eddi are the kinds of people that you can’t help but love - they exude warmth and friendliness and joy and community in a way that is so uncommon and delightful. To spend two beautiful days celebrating their connection was nothing short of magical. I loved that each and every moment was steeped in intention + thoughtfulness, and there wasn’t a single person in the room that didn’t feel it.

They opted to begin their wedding day together with a first look that included the most handsome boy alive - Hedwig - in their own backyard. I can’t express just how much I value spending part of a wedding day at a couples’ home; I think it’s the coziest + sweetest way to infuse some personality into the day. After portraits with their crew of friends + family and giving the cats a few scratches, we were off to Pamperin Park’s picturesque stone shelter for their ceremony (spoiler: everyone cried) and an intimate dinner with their closest friends and family. When the tender speeches + toasts wrapped up, Jill + Eddi shared their first dance to Our House by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - is there a better song for these two?

The next morning, we awoke to a fresh layer of fluffy white snow - the universe has already smiled upon these newlyweds. We ventured into the woods for a few more portraits before stepping into part two of the party of the year, this time with wood-fired pizza + live music by the groom himself. Watching Eddi perform alongside his friends and the joy it brought to their whole community was so profoundly special - I can’t convey just how talented this whole gang is.

If the first wedding of the year is any indicator of how the rest will be, I’m in for a treat.

Scroll for magic.
