While the last few months have felt like an inescapable vortex of terror, they have also brought some of the most incredible couples into my orbit. Syd + Henry are one of those couples, and it was so special to be a part of their sweet City Hall elopement. We chatted while waiting in line and watching all of the other excited couples come in + out of the ceremony office before it was finally their turn. After their tearful private ceremony, they were greeted by bubbles + celebratory hugs from their families before we set out into the snow to the Chicago Athletic Association - one of the most stunning hotels you’ve ever seen. It was such a treat to spend some time getting to know them as we took some cozy, dramatic, magical photos in front of the fire. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my 2025 wedding cohort - so lucky to have met these two angelic lovers.
