Sam + Sierra // Eclectic Queer Milwaukee Wedding at Sorella

HELLO!

From my first conversation with Sam + Sierra, I knew that their wedding would be the stuff of dreams. They were planning an intimate celebration with only their closest friends + family, and they had already infused so much of each of their personality into it that it was bursting at the seams with it. Then, they commissioned my wife to create their florals, and the day carried even more excitement than I previously thought possible. From the incredible array of turquoise jewelry, to the “pocket of whimsy” that Sierra prepared for Sam, to the old Bronco they drove around that day, there was not a single detail selected without intention. Sierra’s bouquet was designed to sit in her grandma’s antique crystal vase. Her mom performed the ceremony and included a surprise communal handfasting where each guest brought their well-wishes to the newlyweds. Sam’s sister wept on their shoulder with complete and utter joy. Their friend’s dog pattered across the floor and stole the show in his little tuxedo. Each and every frame from this day feels so special to me, because Sam + Sierra are truly special. I hope you can feel the fullness and sincerity even across a screen.
