Addie + Ryan // Preppy + Timeless Milwaukee Garden Wedding

Addie + Ryan’s wedding weekend couldn’t have been more stunning. It all started with a sunset boat cruise on Lake Michigan, the perfect way to gather their people and set the tone: relaxed, joyful, and surrounded by beauty. By the time Saturday rolled around, everyone was already buzzing with that kind of excitement that only comes when you know you’re celebrating something really special.

The ceremony + reception took place in the backyard of Ryan’s family home, tucked right into the garden. It felt less like your standard wedding day and more like the dreamiest dinner party; string lights, laughter spilling across the lawn, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger long after the sun goes down (like…I was a little tempted to stick around for the after party). In addition to cake, Addie + Ryan brought in an ice cream truck, which was not only delicious but also such a fun, nostalgic touch that fit the energy of the day perfectly. This level of preppy magic is absolutely what dreams are made of.

One of my favorite moments was watching them drive off in the classic car that they’d taken out on one of their first dates - having it there on their wedding day was like weaving a piece of their history into the story. It’s details like that that make a wedding feel extra personal (not to mention cinematic as hell), and honestly, this one was overflowing with little moments that felt filled with sentiment. These sweethearts created a celebration that felt so timeless + intimate - what an honor to witness it all.
